COACHES REMATCH FROM 2008
Quinnsanity indeed as he takes over top spot; 3 guaranteed money with 9 others vying for 3 spots

CERRITOS, CA (smt)- Two teams blew 13-point leads but only #1S-Kentucky was able to close out the game.  The Wildcats beat their in-state rivals #4W-Louisville, 69-61, by ending the game on a 20-12 run after the Cardinals had rallied to tie the game at 49.  Kentucky makes their first finals trip since 1998.  Meanwhile, #2E-Ohio St. became the third team to fall to #2MW-Kansas' charms, falling apart in the last 2:21 with the following sequence: allow layup, Aaron Craft layup attempt easily blocked, another shot blocked, allow another layup, turnover pass, unnecessary 3-point attempt that nearly air-balled, another quick unnecessary 3-point way off, turnover on in-bound pass, lane violation on Craft (which actually was a smart idea and the useless hosts on truTV's Inside March Madness had no idea if it's a violation by breaking the plane or when the foot comes down), then forgetting to foul on the in-bounds pass.  The 64-62 victory sends Kansas and coach Bill Self to the final for the first time since 2008.  The Jayhawks must love playing from behind because Purdue, UNC, and now Ohio St have taken games they should have won and utterly collapse in the final minutes.  The finals matchup will feature the same coaches as 2008 (with John Calipari coaching Memphis at that time).

Sixteen (16) entries got both teams correct with Quinnsanity propelling to the top of the standings with 132 points followed by Lots of Losers with 131 points.  Those two along with Nwspring 1 (3rd-Tied, 128) are guaranteed money.  Only 38 went 0-2 (50 did not pick Kentucky).  EEChick1400 moved from a tie for 20th to a tie for 7th (124) and can win the pool with a Kansas victory in his 6th year.  Otherwise, Quinnsanity will take the crown in his 5th year.

In the race for the Bonus, the Big East could wins with 13 victories.  That means 10 eliminated entries have a chance to win $40.  They will have to count the total points and hope the final total is a winner for them.

Tids 'n' Bits- Kentucky's win only eliminated Unicorns (42nd-T, 108), the only entry to pick Louisville to win it all...  what's with bringing out the chairs on the court during a timeout?  It just looks weird... Kansas winning after a 9-point halftime deficit is the largest in a Final Four game since Duke beat Maryland in 2001 (I think that was the game where MD jumped out to like a 39-17 lead)... the 0.84 win average for the round is the 4th highest ever... 28 picked Kansas and 84 picked Kentucky... AsherPrancerVixen clinches last place (70) as Dan the Man 2 (131st, 76) got Kansas right to move out of the cellar... of little consolation, Joker's Wild moved from a tie for 112th to a tie for 70th (101)... The Mighty Mobelfakta fell from a tie for 7th to a tie for 24th (115), the same place as our 6-time leader Larzby...

CBS missed the last two live plays-- wonder if anyone will get repremanded for that...
