TULSA BLOWS LATE 13-POINT LEAD AS #5 SEEDS ROLL INTO SWEET 16
Blueberry goes rotten as Big Luther takes over 1st

ANAHEIM HILLS/CERRITOS, CA (smt)- #13MW-Tulsa was ready to roll into the Sweet 16 holding a 13-point lead with 3:45 left. But Tulsa went 1-3 FG, committed three fouls (for five free throws) and three turnovers to allow Freddie Owens to hit a 3-pt shot with 1 second remaining giving #5MW-Wisconsin a 61-60 win. The other #5 seeds, #5W-Notre Dame and #5S-UConn advanced with Wisconsin. #9W-Gonzaga tried to pull off another huge upset taking #1W-Arizona into two overtimes but their last second shot fell short. #3MW-Marquette survived a gutsy #6MW-Missouri team in overtime, becoming the first team in the tourney to score over 100 points. #1E-Oklahoma, #2W-Kansas, and #3W-Duke got easy victories.

After such a high on Day 1, everything went wrong for BLUEBERRY (67 pts) in Day 3. The first game of the day saw Illinois upset, one of her picks in the Final Four and was knocked out of first place. The second game saw her champion pick, Stanford, eliminated, and her third Final Four team knocked out. In eight games, she fell from first to tied for 23rd and little hope. On the flip side, BIG LUTHER (78 pts) went a perfect 8-0 to take over first by 3 pts. YELLOW MONKEY (72 pts) also went 8-0 to go from tied for 27th to tied for 6th. Five people went 3-5. Just 15 people picked Notre Dame and 6 people were denied Tulsa's win.
