 MORALES' MOUNDS LOCKS UP AT LEAST $90, WILL NEED FLORIDA LOSS FOR $180
   Patto's comeback hinges on Florida while others will wait-and-see

     EL SEGUNDO, CA (smt)-  Although MORALES' MOUNDS has wrapped up
at least 2nd Place, he sure would like to win the top prize of
$180.  That will hinge on #1MW-Michigan St. beating #8W-Wisconsin.
If that happens, M.MOUNDS will take 1st Place.  If Wisconsin wins,
then he would have to hope #5E-Florida doesn't win it all because
then PATTO will take 1st Place.  THE MIGHTY MOBELFAKTA will at least
tie for 4th Place but can be guaranteed a money spot if Florida
loses to #8S-North Carolina.  JACKASS will be knocked out of the
money spots if Michigan St. wins it all.  JAFMAN will be knocked out
if Michigan St. beats Wisconsin or if he loses the 4th Place tiebreaker
with Florida beating Wisconsin for the Championship.  THE FABONE VI
will try for his 3rd straight money spot if Michigan St. wins it all
or if Michigan St. loses to North Carolina.  CRAIGS99 hopes for 
inaugural bliss by taking 4th Place if Michigan St. wins it all.

     M.MOUNDS has done a complete turnaround after having finished 
tied for 31st last year (under the moniker USC-NIT CHAMPS).
THE MIGHTY MOBELFAKTA will try to win money for the first time since
1995 when he took 3rd Place ($20).  JAFMAN will also hope for a big
turnaround after finishing 35th last year (as SHAW).  JACKASS,
CRAIGS99, and PATTO are all hoping their first HWCI pool is a good
one.  THE FABONE VI won money in 1998 (3rd-$40) and 1999 (2nd-$90) and
is hoping three's a charm.
