HWCI® POOL # 3:

HWNCAA-SMT UPDATE

2/23/97, Issue # P.1 "Rock the Vote!"

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Our annual NCAA Tournament pool is less than 3 weeks away!  Anyone and everyone is welcome to join.  This year, there has been some support for raising the entry fee from $10 to $20.  I would like to put the matter to a vote.  Last year we had 19 entries.  The prize money was divided accordingly:

1st Place - $110

2nd Place - $50

3rd Place - $30

Now then, if we garner the same amount of entries and were to raise the entry fee to $20, the prize money would presumably be divided like this:

1st Place - $220

2nd Place -$100

3rd Place - $60

I would like everybody's input.  Choose or lose.

that is all,

dfeng

Subject: Sit down, you're rockin the vote!

As a minister of the gospel, albeit only to the troubled youth of our generation, and despite Jon's butt, I must voice my opinion on this gambling thing.  Those of you with any sort of moral fiber at all will back me up on this.  Those other's among you lacking intestinal fortitude, or shall we say, faith, will merely have to deal with the consequences; and I think you know what those consequences might be.  Let's just say you don't want your old pal Donald to call down the thunder.   (Merely envisioning a Risk game should cause some of you to tremble in fear.)  I am in favor of raising the fee to $20, and anyone who votes otherwise is flirting dangerously close to the fire (hell).

Donald has spoken.
